“Stitch ‘n Bitch” groups have become very popular in recent years, but they are definitely not a new phenomenon. People have been gathering together and knitting, crocheting, and doing all kinds of crafts together for generations. There’s just nothing like gathering regularly with others to share in your craft and in your experiences. Purl’s offers several opportunities for gathering in knitted community:

Wednesday Morning Stitch’n Group
Every Wednesday, from 10 to 12, this group has been meeting at Purl’s for many years and is open and welcoming of newcomers. The store is open during this group.
Thursday Stitch’n Night
Every Thursday, the store is open later (from 6 to 8 pm), and everyone is encouraged to come for decaf coffee or tea, light snacks, conversation, and stitching! Bring your own project, or join us in one of our Knit-a-longs.
Tuesday Men’s Group
On Tuesdays (usually 2nd & 4th Tuesdays), our men’s group meets at the store from 6 to 8 pm. We’re looking for new members to join our small group! Let’s get together, and maybe we can do some men’s KIPping, too! Email Rik if you want more information.
