Purl's Perks
ANNOUNCEMENTS :
•Purl’s Perks are ongoing (no resetting after 2 months)
•You can still earn points towards free yarn OR you can now have a point become a chance at a monthly Raffle prize! Instead of a point, you can get your name put into the Raffle Box. You must decide this at the time the point is earned (no changing mind afterwards!)
•Right now, TWO additional ways to earn perks:
1. knit, crochet, or sew a heart/love/wedding item for upcoming
window display (ask Eliz about! or see Ravelry thread)
2. knit, crochet, or sew a Dr. Who related item for future
window displays.
Join our Purl's Perks Points program! To start, next time you make a purchase, make sure you are added to our customer database (name & email are all that are required). Then start racking up points towards these special Purl's Perks:
5 points: For each 5 points earned, pick a free skein from the “Odd Balls” or “Unique Skeins” basket! OR you can have your name put in for a chance at our monthly raffle. Each time you earn a singular point you can have your name put in (but then NOT get a point towards your free yarn).
How do you earn Purl's Perks? There are 10 different things you can do! (some are repeatable!)
1.For every $25 you spend in the store before tax, earn a point! Repeatable.
2. When you bring a new customer to the shop and they sign up for our email list.
3. When you are a new customer who signs up for our email list when you come in with a friend.
4. When you come into the store and let us know you've signed up for our Facebook page for the first time.
5. When you come into the store and let us know you've signed up for our Ravelry page for the first time.
6. Every time you make a 4”x4” or larger swatch for us to display (using any stitch pattern) of a yarn we presently carry. Repeatable.
7. Every time you bring in an item you have made from yarn bought at the shop and allow us to photograph it for sharing on our Facebook and/or Ravelry pages. Repeatable.
8. Each time you register for a class at Purl's. Repeatable.
9. When you come to a knit group at Purl's for the first time.
10. When you purchase something on one of our extended hour evenings (bet. 6 & 8pm). Repeatable.
Please note: If we don't immediately recognize that you have earned a Purl's Purks point, it is your responsibility to bring to our attention your having fulfilled one of the above items (i.e. you cannot request points for having fulfilled requirements after the fact - “Oh, by the way, last week I shopped during your evening hours, but I forgot to make sure I got a point.” etc.).
